Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance Commander Deck Guide (Reality Fracture)

A mono-black discard build guide for Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance from Reality Fracture — how the card works, the discard-punisher game plan, the deck skeleton, and how to win by grinding the whole table down.
Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance is Reality Fracture's take on the fan-favourite discard skeleton — this time a cheap, mono-black commander that punishes the whole table for losing cards. Here's how to build it.
Reading the Commander
For {2}{B} you get a Skeleton Rogue that does two things:
- - When it enters, each opponent discards a card.
- - Whenever a player discards one or more cards, Tinybones deals 1 damage to each opponent.
The second line is the engine. In a three-opponent game, every discard trigger — yours or theirs — pings the table. Stack enough forced discard and you're chipping everyone down while stripping their hands.
The Game Plan
You're a mono-black discard / stax deck: strip opponents' hands, punish every card they lose, and grind out the game as their options dry up. It's disruptive, budget-friendly, and hits all three opponents at once.
Core Package
- - Repeatable discard: Bottomless Pit, Oppression, Necrogen Mists, Liliana's Caress-style effects, Megrim, Waste Not — every discard fires Tinybones.
- - Symmetric discard you break: Windfall, Dark Deal, and wheels dump everyone's hands (and trigger Tinybones once per card lost).
- - Hand attack: Thoughtseize, Mind Twist, and edicts to keep opponents empty.
- - Discard payoffs beyond the commander: Sire of Insanity, Bone Miser, and Geier Reach Sabotage-style cards.
The Skeleton
Follow the Commander deck template, tuned mono-black:
- - 1 Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance
- - 37 lands — mono-color is easy to fix; add utility lands (Cabal Coffers, Bojuka Bog)
- - 10 ramp — black loves mana rocks and rituals; Cabal Coffers + Nykthos-style ramp for a big mana turn
- - 10 removal + 3 board wipes — mono-black has premium point removal
- - 8–10 repeatable discard sources
- - 6–8 discard payoffs / hand attack
- - 2–3 win conditions
How You Win
Tinybones itself is a slow clock, but the deck closes with discard payoffs converting empty hands into damage, a big mana X-spell drain (Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire), or classic mono-black finishers. Make sure you run a real win condition — hand disruption alone rarely closes a game.
