By using Tapped Decks ("the Service"), operated by Tapped Decks, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy.
Service Description
Tapped Decks is a Magic: The Gathering Commander deck-building tool. It offers a free tier and paid subscription plans that provide AI-powered deck recommendations, card synergy analysis, community features, and purchasing links. Paid plans are a subscription to software features and compute — not to any Magic: The Gathering content, which remains the property of its owners.
AI Deck Tools & Accuracy
Early access
Tapped Decks is in an early-access period and we are actively improving it. Features may change, and the AI deck builder, deck review, and upgrade suggestions are offered on an evolving basis.
The AI can make mistakes
Our AI-generated decks, card ratings, bracket estimates, and upgrade suggestions are automated recommendations, not professional or authoritative advice. They can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuited to your goals — they may misjudge a card, misread an interaction, or suggest a card that doesn't fit your plan. Card colour-identity legality is validated, but you are responsible for reviewing any output before you rely on it, buy cards, or play. Use it as a starting point, not a final verdict.
Reporting problems
If something looks wrong, tell us — use the "How did we do?" feedback prompt shown after a build or upgrade, or email support@tappeddecks.com. We read reported issues and fix what we reasonably can, but we can't promise that every output will be corrected or that the tools will be error-free.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans
We offer paid subscription plans (Builder and Commander) alongside a limited free tier. The current prices, billing frequency, and features are shown on our pricing section before you subscribe.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless stated otherwise) and renew automatically at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage subscription), which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing.
Refunds & cooling-off
Except where required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days; by subscribing and starting to use paid features immediately, you request that the service begin during that period and acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once the service has been fully performed. Nothing in these terms limits your non-waivable statutory rights.
Taxes
Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), which will be added where required.
Price changes
We may change our standard prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal. If you locked in founder pricing, that discounted rate stays yours for your subscription as described at sign-up and will not be increased while your subscription remains active.
User Responsibilities
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the platform, including spamming, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with its operation.
AI features
You must not abuse the AI features, including sending excessive requests, attempting to extract system prompts, or using output for purposes unrelated to deck building.
Community content
When publishing decks, comments, reviews, or profile content, you must follow our Community Guidelines and must not post offensive, abusive, infringing, or illegal content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual Property
Magic: The Gathering
Magic: The Gathering, all card names, mana symbols, card text, and card art are trademarks and copyrights of Wizards of the Coast LLC and the respective artists. Tapped Decks is unofficial Fan Content used under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.
Card data
Card data and images are provided via Scryfall's API; price data via TCGplayer; synergy data via EDHREC. We claim no ownership of this third-party data or of the underlying Magic: The Gathering intellectual property.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Tapped Decks infringes your copyright, see our Copyright / DMCA policy.
Your content
You retain ownership of the decks you create. By publishing a deck to the community, you grant other users and us a non-exclusive licence to display, share, and interact with it on the platform.
Account Registration & Consent
Account creation
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
Marketing communications
During registration you may optionally opt in to marketing emails (product updates, promotions, new features, community highlights). This is entirely optional, does not affect your use of the Service, and you may withdraw consent at any time via your account preferences or the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Account deletion
You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your account page, or by contacting us at support@tappeddecks.com. Published community decks may be anonymised rather than deleted.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tapped Decks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, deck information, or any purchases made through third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tapped Decks operates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. The specific governing-law jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process are being finalised with legal counsel and will be stated here. If you have a concern, please contact us first at support@tappeddecks.com so we can try to resolve it.
Service & Terms Modifications
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
