Strategy
V'Ger, the Intruder is a control-oriented commander that leverages information and disruption. Every time it enters or attacks, you get to choose between peeking at an opponent's hand (and drawing a card for the advantage) or temporarily weakening their creatures. This turns V'Ger into a repeatable source of card draw wrapped in a defensive package—you're never just swinging; you're gathering intelligence and controlling the board simultaneously.
The deck wants to protect V'Ger, ramp into it quickly, and keep it attacking or recurring. Once it's in play, you're generating consistent value while your opponents' threats are managed. Since V'Ger costs seven mana, the early game focuses on ramp and low-impact interaction. Once you land your commander, you shift into a grindy, advantage-based midrange gameplan where V'Ger's redundant triggers overwhelm opponents over time. You win through commander damage (it's a 5/7 flyer) or by attriting your opponents out while you're drawing extra cards.
