Legendary Creature — Human Shaman
At the beginning of combat on your turn, for each Aura and Equipment attached to Valduk, create a 3/1 red Elemental creature token with trample and haste. Exile those tokens at the beginning of the next end step.
“Load up Valduk with cheap Auras and Equipment to spawn a fresh army of hasty Elementals each turn.”
Valduk, Keeper of the Flame is a tempo powerhouse that turns your Auras and Equipment into a token army every combat. You're essentially doubling (or tripling) your threat count by loading up Valduk with cheap enchantments and gear, then swinging in with a horde of 3/1 hasty Elementals that disappear after combat. The deck wants low-cost Auras like Madcap Skills and Cartouche of Zeal, along with Equipment like Grafted Wargear or Embercleave, so you can protect and buff Valduk while generating value.
Your game plan is straightforward aggression: ramp into Valduk by turn 3-4, equip or enchant him immediately, then attack every turn for increasing damage. Each combat step, you're creating fresh tokens that deal 3 damage minimum, forcing opponents to either block or take significant hits. Since Valduk himself is relatively fragile, you'll also run pump spells and indestructible effects to keep him alive through removal. Victory comes from raw combat damage—the tokens add up fast, and you're often swinging for 10+ damage by turn 5.

Skip expensive Equipment like Doubling Season; use budget Auras like Cartouche of Zeal, Madcap Skills, and Storyweave instead. Swap Embercleave for Sting, Beating Grounds or Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang.
