Urza, Powerstone Prodigy is a resource engine that turns card draw and discard into mana acceleration. The gameplan is deceptively simple: tap Urza to draw and discard, trigger him repeatedly to generate Powerstone tokens, then convert that colorless mana into artifact-heavy threats. Since Powerstones can only fuel artifact spells, you'll be loading the deck with artifact creatures, artifact lands, and cost-reducing effects to turn your mana advantage into a board presence.
The core loop is all about redundancy. Fill your deck with artifact cards—especially cheap ones—so discarding becomes a feature, not a bug. Include artifact tutors, card selection effects, and ways to trigger Urza's ability multiple times per turn if possible. Once you have several Powerstone tokens, you can deploy big artifacts or run a controlling shell with blue staples while grinding out value.
