Legendary Creature — Slug Horror
At the beginning of each end step, put a slime counter on each creature you don't control. Creatures you don't control get -1/-1 for each slime counter on them. Whenever a creature you don't control with a slime counter on it dies, create a 1/1 black Slug creature token. {U}{B}, Sacrifice a Slug: Draw a card.
“Slug horror that slowly poisons enemy boards into tokens you draw cards from.”
Toxrill is a slow-rolling engine that turns enemy creatures into your personal resource farm. Each turn, your opponents' creatures accumulate slime counters and shrink, eventually dying and spawning Slug tokens you can sacrifice for card draw. You're not trying to win fast—instead, you're grinding out value while your opponents' boards deteriorate. The deck plays defensively early, ramps into Toxrill, then locks the game down as enemy threats wither away. You'll generate card advantage through slug tokens and draw effects, eventually overwhelming opponents through a combination of attrition and your own growing threat.
The win condition is typically combat damage from your Slug army plus Toxrill itself, though you can also just mill opponents out if the game goes long enough. You want redundant sources of repeatable sacrifice outlets and card draw, since that's where your advantage comes from. Any effects that double counters or force opponents to play more creatures accelerate Toxrill's clock significantly.

Skip expensive interaction like Counterspell and use cheaper defensive spells like Drown in Sorrow or Fleshbag Marauder; replace pricey card draw with Disciple of Bolas and Altar's Reap.
