Legendary Creature — Time Lord Rogue
Body Thief — When you cast this spell, you may exile a creature you control and put a takeover counter on it. You may have The Master enter as a copy of a creature card in exile with a takeover counter on it.
“Blue-Black shapeshifter that copies exiled creatures for flexible, adaptable threats.”
The Master, Formed Anew is a shapeshifter commander that lets you steal the best stats and abilities from creatures you've exiled. The core gameplan is to build up a library of exiled creatures—ideally ones with powerful ETB effects or evasion—then use The Master to become a copy of whichever creature suits your current situation. This gives you flexibility: go wide with token generators, go tall with a scary flyer, or pivot to whatever your table needs.
You'll want lots of ways to put creatures into exile before casting The Master: flicker effects like Ephemerate, mill spells that hit your own deck, or just creatures with enters-the-battlefield effects that also self-mill. Once The Master is online, you're generating card advantage by getting multiple uses out of exiled creatures' abilities. Your wins come from swinging with a copied threat or leveraging the creature's abilities to dominate the board.

Skip expensive tutors like Mystical Tutor; use cheaper mill effects like Stitcher's Supplier and Self-Exile instead, and lean on modal creatures that work in multiple copied forms.
