Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
When The Fugitive Doctor enters, investigate. Whenever The Fugitive Doctor attacks, you may sacrifice a Clue. When you do, target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback {2}{R}{G} until end of turn. (You may cast that card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)
“Sacrifice Clues to flashback spells from your graveyard repeatedly.”
The Fugitive Doctor turns your graveyard into a spell engine by generating Clues and converting them into flashback fuel. Your core gameplan is to fill your graveyard with cheap instants and sorceries—especially those with good ETB effects or that generate value—then attack with the Doctor to sacrifice Clues and rebuy spells from the yard. This creates a repeating value loop where you're casting spells multiple times, fueling card advantage and building toward a lethal board state.
You win by either assembling a combat-heavy turn where flashbacked spells create tokens or pump effects, or by chaining together spell casts until you generate enough damage or board presence. The deck wants to be tempo-oriented early, filling the graveyard naturally while the Doctor generates Clues. Once you have a few Clues and spells in the yard, the Doctor becomes a repeatable flashback engine that's hard to stop. Think of it as Cheerios meets spell-slinging recursion—low mana cost, high impact.

Skip expensive staples like Doubling Season; instead lean on cheap spell generators like Goblin Token and free sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer or Zulaport Cutthroat.
