Shilgengar is a sacrifice outlet that rewards you for creating and spending Blood tokens. Your core gameplan revolves around generating tokens—especially Angels—sacrificing them to Shilgengar for Blood, then cashing in those tokens to reanimate your whole graveyard as vampire-typed creatures. This gives you a massive board wipe into a massive board refill, turning incremental sacrifices into a game-ending turn.
The deck wants to be a hybrid of token generation and aristocrats synergies. Early game, you'll build up creatures and tokens while filling your graveyard with threats. Mid-game, you're sacrificing tokens and creatures to draw cards, drain opponents, or just generate more Blood. Late game, once you've accumulated enough Blood tokens (or filled your graveyard with high-impact creatures), you untap and execute the finisher: spending six Blood to reanimate everything with finality counters, essentially creating an army of undying threats that become nearly impossible to remove.
