Legendary Creature — Human Rogue
You may have Sakashima enter as a copy of another creature you control, except it has Sakashima's other abilities. The "legend rule" doesn't apply to permanents you control. Partner (You can have two commanders if both have partner.)
“Clone engine that breaks the legend rule for explosive value and board dominance.”
Sakashima of a Thousand Faces is a clone engine that breaks the legend rule, letting you go absolutely wild with copying your best creatures. The core idea is to build around creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield (ETB) effects—like card draw, ramp, or tutoring—then copy them over and over for exponential value. Since the legend rule doesn't apply to your permanents, you can have multiple copies of the same legend in play at once, triggering their abilities each time. You're essentially turning every good creature into a repeatable effect machine, snowballing your resources until you can either combo off or just attack for lethal with a massive board.
The deck wants mana creatures, card draw creatures, and creatures with "whenever this enters" abilities that generate advantage. You'll lean on clone effects (both creatures and spells) to multiply your best threats, and blink/reanimation to trigger ETBs repeatedly. With partner, you can pick a second commander that complements your strategy—something like Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer for token generation, or a control-oriented partner for protection. Your win condition is usually a combination of board dominance and combat damage, though some lists can pivot into infinite combos with the right pieces.
This is a "value snowball" deck that rewards smart sequencing and knowing which creatures to prioritize copying. It's forgiving enough for intermediate players but has plenty of room to optimize and explore combo lines.
