“Build coolness with flyers & haste, then go infinite with five-color mana.”
Rainbow Dash is a unique five-color commander that rewards you for attacking with flying and/or haste creatures by building up a "coolness" counter that eventually unlocks a game-changing mana ability. Your core gameplan is to assemble a deck full of evasive threats—flyers and haste creatures—that trigger Dash's ability repeatedly. Each swing inches you closer to 100% coolness, at which point Sonic Rainboom becomes an absurd mana engine: five colors of mana, a card draw, and a reset to keep the engine spinning. Once you hit that threshold, you're generating massive amounts of resources every turn, letting you overwhelm opponents through a combination of flying pressure and overwhelming card advantage. The deck naturally wins through combat damage as your army of flying/haste creatures snowballs while you're drawing extra cards and casting bigger spells.

Skip expensive mythic flyers like Murktide; use efficient commons/uncommons like Favorable Winds, Dragon Whelp, and Goblin Bombardment to fuel coolness triggers cheaply.
