Legendary Creature — Spirit
Moonfolk offering (You may cast this spell any time you could cast an instant by sacrificing a Moonfolk and paying the difference in mana costs between this and the sacrificed Moonfolk. Mana cost includes color.) Flying {1}: Put up to two land cards from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
“Land-slinging spirit that turns your hand into an endless value engine”
Patron of the Moon is a land-based control engine that turns your hand into a steady stream of mana and board presence. The core gameplan is to abuse its activated ability—repeatedly putting lands onto the battlefield tapped—to ramp while filling the board with utility lands that have enters-the-battlefield effects. Cards like Mystic Sanctuary, Azorius Chancery, and Panharmonicon synergize beautifully, letting you blink lands or trigger them multiple times per turn. The Moonfolk offering mechanic gives you a fast way to cast it early by sacrificing cheap Moonfolk, setting up your engine faster.
You win by generating so much value that opponents can't keep up. Bounce lands and fetch effects generate card advantage while Patron keeps deploying threats. Eventually you'll have enough mana and utility to lock down the board with control magic, or simply bash through with the 5/4 flyer while holding up answers. Late-game, you're essentially tutoring lands and generating triggers every turn, making it nearly impossible for opponents to resolve threats.

Skip pricey fetches like Scalding Tarn; use basic lands and cheaper dual lands like Irrigated Farmland or Mystic Gate. Budget Moonfolk like Moonbow Illusionist are just as functional.
