Strategy
Magik, Illyana Rasputin is a Villain sorcerer who wants to flip into her demon form and build a discard-and-reanimation engine. The front side triggers when you discard, connive, or wheel—fueling both hand disruption and graveyard value. Once you transform into Darkchild, you're a bigger threat with access to more discard outlets and a damage-dealing strategy. The deck wins by cycling through your deck with connive-heavy creatures and Plans like Glorious Purpose, then flickering or recurring threats from the graveyard while dealing incremental damage. Mayhem cards let you cast discarded threats for free, turning chaotic hand disruption into a real game plan.

Budget Build
Glorious Purpose and Construct a Cosmic Cube are cheap Plan engines; swap pricey Villains like Archnemesis for bulk Villain creatures and lean into free discard outlets like Dark Deal or Syphon Mind.
