Liliana the Repentant

Liliana the Repentant is a self-contained graveyard engine that rewards you for playing creatures and planeswalkers. Every time a creature or planeswalker enters the battlefield under your control, you mill two cards—filling your graveyard while finding threats to reanimate. Her exhaust ability lets you spend {5}{B} once to recur a creature or planeswalker from the yard to the field and gain a permanent boost with a +1/+1 counter, turning milled cards into tempo swings.

The deck's core strategy is to abuse enter-the-battlefield triggers and self-mill synergies. Play cheap creatures and token generators to trigger Liliana repeatedly, bin both threats and payoffs, then reanimate the best ones at instant speed or on your turn. Your graveyard becomes a second hand—every mill is a tutor that may also trigger threshold, flashback, or other graveyard synergies. You win by amassing value, eventually overwhelming the table with creatures and planeswalkers, or by comboing out with sacrifice outlets and reanimation loops.

This is a tempo-graveyard deck that scales from mid-game onwards. Early, you're milling and setting up. Mid-game, you're recasting creatures and building board presence. Late-game, you're leveraging multiple reanimation triggers and planeswalker activations to close out games through combat or drain effects.
