Legendary Creature — Human Noble
Inspired — Whenever King Macar becomes untapped, you may exile target creature. If you do, create a Gold token. (It's an artifact with "Sacrifice this token: Add one mana of any color.")

“Exile creatures for ramp each turn via inspired untap triggers.”
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed is a value engine that turns creature removal into ramp. Every time he untaps, you exile a creature and create a Gold token—a mana-fixing artifact that turns your removal into acceleration. The core gameplan is to abuse the untap trigger as much as possible, whether through dedicated untap effects, extra combat phases, or by bouncing/flickering him in and out of play. You're essentially playing midrange: controlling the board while generating mana advantage that lets you cast bigger threats faster than your opponents.
The deck leans on black's creature removal and control tools to fill the role of "creatures to exile," but you'll also want cards that untap King Macar or give him haste so he can attack and trigger immediately. Blue is a natural splash for untap effects like Sword of Feast and Famine, or you can stick mono-black and lean harder into sacrifice outlets and recursion. Your win condition is straightforward: control the game, generate tons of mana and Gold tokens, then deploy a threat or combo sequence that the table can't handle.

Replace expensive tutors and dual lands with mono-black basics and budget untap effects like Puppet Strings or Thousand-Year Elixir; creature removal is already cheap.
