More Than Meets the Eye {3}{U} (You may cast this card converted for {3}{U}.) Flying Remove one or more +1/+1 counters from among artifacts you control: Target player adds that much {C}. This mana can't be spent to cast nonartifact spells. Convert Jetfire.
“Blue conversion aggro/tempo—flip creatures into upgrades and deal evasive damage.”
Jetfire is a unique double-faced commander that rewards you for converting—transforming your creatures and artifacts into more powerful versions. Your core gameplan is to build a deck full of creatures with adapt and other conversion mechanics, turning them into bigger threats while Jetfire himself can flip into an artifact Vehicle form when you want a evasive finisher. The beauty is that you're not locked into one strategy: you can play it as a tempo deck that curves out with efficient threats, or go deeper into the conversion/adapt shell for recursive value and explosive turns.
You'll want to fill your deck with creatures that have multiple utility modes—adapt creatures that also do things when they enter, permanents that benefit from being converted, and support cards that care about your growing board. Jetfire's flying and potential Vehicle synergies give you evasion, and converting creatures gives you incremental advantage. You win by either chipping away with an upgraded board of flying threats, or by building a critical mass of converted permanents that overwhelm your opponents through sheer value and card advantage.

Skip expensive dual lands—basic Islands and cheap utility lands work fine. Replace premium card-draw (like Jace staples) with Modal Doubly Diverted and Mystic Reflection.
