Legendary Creature — Human Noble Ally
Firebending 2 During your turn, each non-Lesson instant and sorcery card in your graveyard has flashback. The flashback cost is equal to that card's mana cost. (You may cast a card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.) During your turn, each Lesson card in your graveyard has flashback {1}.
“Cast spells from your graveyard repeatedly to grind value and chip in for commander damage.”
Iroh, Grand Lotus is all about turning your graveyard into a second hand by repeatedly casting spells from it via flashback. You'll stock your graveyard early with cheap instants and sorceries, then use Iroh's ability to cast them over and over for their original mana costs. The Lesson subtype matters too—those can be flashed back for just {1}, making them incredible value engines. Your main game plan is grinding out incremental advantage until you've generated enough mana and card advantage to close out with combat damage or a lethal spell sequence.
Build around self-mill and discard outlets to fill your graveyard quickly, then pack your deck with cheap cantrips, removal, and card draw. Lessons are especially juicy since they're often efficient utility that costs little to cast multiple times. You want a good mix of ramp, interaction, and card selection so you're always finding your best spells to flashback. With Iroh's 5/5 body and firebending, you can also deal chip damage that adds up when you're casting spells every turn.
The deck wins through a combination of chip damage from the commander and whittling opponents down with repeated spell casts. Once you're generating enough mana and value, a big turn of casting multiple flashback spells into a finisher spell (like a massive burn spell or overloaded counterspell) seals the deal.

Skip expensive fetchlands and use basic lands plus affordable dual lands like Myriad Landscape and Cultivate for ramp. Replace pricey interaction with budget instant-sorceries like Counterspell and Lightning Bolt.
