Strategy
Guinan is all about rewarding you for playing creatures that enter the battlefield on your turn. Her ability taps for {1}{W} to put +1/+1 counters on each creature that entered this turn, and if you hit two or more creatures, you draw a card. This turns your normal creature plays into card advantage. The deck wants to load up on creature tokens, blink effects, and cheap creatures that enter repeatedly so you can untap Guinan and trigger her ability multiple times per turn. Once you've got a critical mass of creatures swinging in with counters, the damage adds up fast—and you're drawing cards the whole way.
