Legendary Creature — Wurm
Other creatures have "Whenever this creature attacks, you may have it fight Grothama, All-Devouring." When Grothama leaves the battlefield, each player draws cards equal to the amount of damage dealt to Grothama this turn by sources they controlled.
“Political wurm that turns fights into card draw for everyone at the table.”
Grothama, All-Devouring is a unique card draw engine disguised as a big green wurm. Your game plan is to cast Grothama, then encourage your opponents' creatures to fight it repeatedly. Each fight deals damage, and when Grothama leaves the battlefield (or at end of turn), every player draws cards equal to the damage their creatures dealt to it. This turns combat into a card advantage engine where everyone benefits, making it a great political tool in multiplayer.
You'll want creatures that naturally want to fight things—think of cards with enrage mechanics, fight outlets, or just aggressive creatures that threaten combat anyway. Green's fight package gives you plenty of outlets. The deck plays a bit like group hug (everyone draws cards) but with teeth; you're still attacking and threatening the table. Win through combat damage with your creatures, or sometimes your opponents help you by fighting Grothama and ramping your draws.
