Strategy
Geist of Saint Thalia is a tempo-focused commander that makes all your noncreature spells cheaper by one generic mana. This discount compounds beautifully with a high volume of instants and sorceries, letting you cast cantrips, counterspells, card draw, and interaction for a fraction of their normal cost. You're essentially playing a spellslinger deck that generates incremental value while holding up mana for your most efficient answers. The goal is to control the early game with cheap removal and disruption, then pivot into card advantage engines like Talrand, Sky Summoner or Murmuring Mystic to overwhelm opponents with tokens, or simply grind them out with repeated surveil-into-hand effects and incremental damage from flying.
Your deck wants to lean heavily into cantrips, card draw, and flexible interaction. Reality Fracture offers Chandra, Chill of Compliance and Plan for All Outcomes as natural fits—both reward casting noncreature spells and thin your deck. Surveil synergies like Proctor of Potential and Enlightened Confidant turn discards into resources. Pack cheap counterspells, bounce spells, and creatures that benefit from instant/sorcery casting, then close out games through evasive damage or a critical mass of tokens.
