Legendary Creature — God // Legendary Enchantment
Vigilance {T}: Add one mana of any color. Other legendary creatures you control have vigilance and "{T}: Add one mana of any color."
“Five-color permanent toolbox—cheat any permanent into play every turn.”
Esika is a five-color toolbox commander that lets you cheat permanents directly onto the battlefield every turn. The front side is a cheap, evasive creature with vigilance that attacks without tapping, while the back side (The Prismatic Bridge) is a repeatable tutor effect stapled to an enchantment—giving you access to any permanent in your deck from turn 4 onward. Your core gameplan is ramping into the bridge, then using it to assemble a powerful board while your opponents scramble to answer threats that don't require casting.
You'll want to fill your deck with high-impact permanents that win games on their own: planeswalkers, big creatures, artifact combinations, and mana accelerators. The beauty of Esika is flexibility—you can pivot between aggressive strategies, controlling the board, or setting up combo wins depending on what you're facing. Since you're playing five colors, excellent mana fixing is essential, but the payoff is accessing the best permanent-based strategies across all colors.
Wins come from commander damage, overwhelming tokens, planeswalker ultimates, or assembling game-ending permanents (like infinite mana engines or combo pieces). The deck rewards careful sequencing and knowing your deck's tutor order.

Start with budget planeswalkers like Ashiok, Void Seer and Liliana, Waker of the Dead instead of Teferi, Time Raveler or Wrenn and Six; use signets and Kodama's Reach over pricey dual lands.
