Strategy
Ekthi, Contaminator Priest turns your Equipment into a token-generating machine. Every piece of gear that enters the battlefield creates a 0/0 Phyrexian Germ token, which immediately gets +1/+1 from Ekthi's lord ability—suddenly you're pumping out small Phyrexian bodies while building a voltron-style equipped threat. The deck plays like a hybrid: you're generating a token army on one axis while equipping creatures for evasion and power on the other. Your Phyrexians grow stronger together, and each Equipment becomes a mini-token generator, so even modest gear like Bone Saw becomes a recurring threat factory.
The core gameplan is mana acceleration into Equipment tutors and token doublers, building a board of Phyrexian bodies faster than opponents can answer. You want redundant token makers (like Doubling Season effects) and cheap Equipment to chain together explosive turns. Some of your Equipment might be attached to Germs that die, but by then you've gained momentum. You win by either overwhelming with Phyrexian tokens, turning one creature into an unblockable equipped threat, or going infinite with sacrifice loops and recursion. The deck has surprising resilience since Germs replace themselves and Equipment can reattach.
