Strategy
Deanna Troi is a quietly powerful engine that rewards you for playing creatures—every creature you cast enters with an extra +1/+1 counter, turning your army into an oversized force. White has plenty of efficient token generators and small creatures that love this kind of boost, so you're looking at a deck that curves creatures efficiently and uses their growing power to either beat down quickly or go tall via a Voltron-style finisher. The real payoff comes from pairing her with sacrifice outlets, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and lords that amplify the +1/+1 counter strategy into a genuinely threatening board state.
Your gameplan is straightforward: play Deanna early, flood the board with creatures (tokens, small efficient dudes, or ETB creatures like Snapdancer), and watch them grow. White has excellent synergies here—aristocrats like Zulaport Cutthroat and Viscera Seer reward you for sacrificing your oversized tokens, while cards like Hardened Scales turn your counters into runaway threats. You can also lean into blink effects to repeatedly reset Deanna's ability, or pair her with sacrifice payoffs for a value-driven aristocrats shell. Win by swinging with an evasive creature pumped to lethal, sacrificing threats for incremental advantage, or closing out with a combo line if you build toward it.

Key Synergies
Budget Build
Skip expensive mana bases; White-focused decks run fine on basics and $1–3 dual lands like Evolving Wilds. Swap pricey lords (Coat of Arms, Doubling Season) for budget alternatives like Intangible Virtue and Welcoming Vampire.
